There are multiple routes to reach Harishchandragad. All include a long trek with moderate to difficult climbing. Easiest route is from Village Pachnai. A winding trail along the cliff takes climber directly to Harishchandreshwar Temple
Another route, more famous is trekkers, is from Khubi Phata on Kalyan - Nagar highway. From here a hectic climb takes us on the top through Tolar Khind (a mountain pass). From here a moderately difficult climb takes climber to top. And then a long 5 km walk to Harishchandreshwar Temple
Then there are more adventurous routes, like Nalichi Vat, for serious trekkers
October to February is best for trekking. June to September is scenic but slippery due to rains.
