The Narnala Fort, located in Akot taluka, Akola district, is one of the largest forts in the Vidarbha region and a must-visit for history lovers and trekking enthusiasts. Perched amidst the lush green Satpuda ranges and falling within the buffer zone of the Melghat Tiger Reserve, Narnala is a perfect mix of heritage and natural beauty.

The fort has a long history, with references tracing back to the Yadava dynasty, later fortified by the Mughals, the Bahamanis, and eventually the Marathas.
