Road till Uma Maheshwar Mandir. From there some 300 meter walking required. There is no fix path; one has to traverse on rocky shore. Road is slippery at places. It is better to wear shoes.
The ideal time to visit Brahmanghal is from September to February, when the weather is cool and the surroundings are green and safe for trekking. Monsoon (June–August) is beautiful but slippery and risky — best suited for experienced trekkers with proper gear.
About the place ...
Bamanghal is an incredible creation of nature. It is located near Hedvi beach. It is a small walk along the rocky beach and one can observe a large crack formed in the slopes. The water vigorously enters this crack and fills the 3-4m deep and 1m wide crack and sprays upwards through the narrow opening. This creates a humungous wall, a few meters high, during high tides and this is an enthralling sight to watch. The view of water droplets spraying upwards and forming a wall at Bamanghal is breathtaking.
The 13-15 feet high water column created is a thrilling experience to watch. Bamanghal is a must-visit for every kind of traveler.
